Holiday update!

Seasons greetings geeksters! Just checking in~

  • I had so many purchases that I had to take down most of my sales!
  • Sales through Christmas have been going well! I took up 6 sales from November with the goal of having them done by Christmas, and I'm over halfway there! I've done some pretty exciting things with my work this year. Here are a couple examples:

This was a really fun take I did on the Sailor Moon scarf. It was great and I'm extremely pleased with the result!

Here are a pair of cute scarves I did for a custom order - This was the first time I had someone request that I don't put fringe on the ends. It turned out well!

  • I have some really exciting changes coming for the store once I get through the projects I have left (which is currently 5 scarves, a hat, and a pair of gloves!!). I can't wait to show them to you!

New items!!

Hey all, I've added a couple new items to my shop!

There is a Sailor Moon reboot in the works, and everyone is gearing up for it. Why not add a gorgeous Sailor Scarf to your wardrobe?? It is perfect for any fan of the series!

As the weather starts to get cooler, the perfect accessory is my new playing card-inspired Harley Quinn gloves! Joker himself would be impressed with the style and comfort - that is, until he came up with a scheme that ends in Harley destroying them! Don't worry, these gloves are sure to last so long as you don't work for a criminal such as the Joker! The gloves come in S, M, or L sizes (small is pictured, graphic novel not included in sale!):

Scarves take up to a month to finish, but the gloves will be shipped within 5 business days! ^_^

Thanks for reading, happy buying!

Scarf Season Already?!?!

You heard right! It's good to get a head start on ordering your scarf to ensure that it is ready by your event or holiday. I am working on bases all the time, but they're still time-consuming, and I obviously work much more diligently when I have an actual order and am not simply working on a head start.

If you ever have any questions or requests, don't hesitate to message or email me! I love taking custom requests, and if you can pixelate it, I can knit it!

SpringCON Knits!

Hello! I had been quite busy recently working on some stuff for MCBA's SpringCON. My friend Kiki (Nicole) of NiCoral asked me to contribute to her Arkham Carnival booth, dress up, and generally help out. I decided last-minute that it would be cool to try some new things, so I worked in a frenzy to come up with neat ideas.

What came out was some wristbands and adventures in felt!

Some Riddler armwarmer gloves, modeled by my lovely assistant. I plan on making more of these in the future. A super nice woman who is a fellow knitter bought them from me at the CON!

I'm really proud of my Flash wristbands. They are adorable.

One woman lamented that I didn't have enough wristbands in more child sizes. I apologized and whipped up a few that night, but in the meantime, she bought one her nephew could grow into. She came back the next day to show me his new present ^_^

I made a couple of Deadpool wristbands after hearing how popular the Deadpool items that NiCoral were selling was. My deadpool wristbands sold in a flash!

The theme of Arkham Carnival was "The Bad Guys Have All the Fun!" I was Talia al Ghul (right). I stood near Batman most of the time because that way people were more likely to "get" me, as Batman's jilted lover.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by and took my card or purchased from me or NiCoral! It was a wonderful time and I'm so happy to be a part of the geek community. :)

Comic Con?!

Thanks for visiting my blog! You may have gotten here from my original knitting blog, or from my shop, Eventual Knits

This post is an update on the interesting developments of my Etsy shop. I had a very good holiday season in regards to sales in my shop after having only made it public in October and not doing any advertising (and phew, it was a lot of work knitting 5 scarves in just a couple of months, but now I know it's possible!). Since then I decided not to do any major promotion of my shop; instead I've been working on getting scarf "bases" knit up to try to get ahead of next season so that each scarf will only take a week or so to finish. So keep an eye out for which colors I have in stock and ready to be stitched!!

In other news, I was asked by a friend of mine, Kiki of NiCoralCrafts, to assist in her booth at SpringCON this year!! It's very exciting, and I have begun working on some items that will definitely make their way into my shop after the event. Here is a taste -

Batman Wristband, Large/Men's

Batman headband, Small

Who wouldn't love to own a super-cute craft like these?? ^_^ I knit up the base in acrylic and then cut out felt and glue it together using felt glue. The felt loosens up without falling off. Wonderful!
